It seems that some of antivirus software produces a false positive warning for MapleXp 1.4.10 installer.

As I announced two weeks ago MapleXp has got its own domain maplexp.com.
I have already moved the whole site content to the new location so please update your links.

www.maplexp.com is a new home for MapleXp.

The old domain (maplexp.veex.net) will be still available for some time.

While I keep working on a new version of MapleXp I decided to make some administration changes.

First off all I have registered a new domain. “Maplexp.com” will be used exclusively for MapleXp related content. The site is empty now but I am going to move all contents from the current web soon.

Having a dedicated domain for MapleXp I decided to move this blog from “blogspot”. All present posts have been successfully imported and it seems to works perfectly. RSS feed is available for this blog so you can subscribe to it to stay up to date with any announcements related to MapleXp.

I have sent MapleXp installer (maplexp-1470.exe) to AVG company for a deep analysis and they have confirmed that it was a false alert.

This result means that AVG virus definition file will be updated so that no alert is raised any longer for my installer.

AVG no longer raises an alert while scanning MapleXp 1.4.7 installer.

I have received recently some emails from people saying that their AVG antivirus is reporting MapleXp installer to be infected.

Interestingly, I have not change my installation routine for quite a long time and there were no such reports ever before.

Fortunately there are some download sites which have already tested and accepted MapleXp 1.4.7 so you can check the following links to make sure this version of MapleXp is clean:
